It's day two of this live your dream. I didn't particularly started off right this morning. I couldn't rise and shine as early as I wanted to. It was impossible to do these things consistently over the long course. This is not my cry of defeat however, don't get me wrong, I am gutted that I didn't wake up, I didn't get an extra hour to do what I love most, being me. But I also also recognise that I must stay positive all the time and that means giving up is not an option. Resilience, is a concept that I hope to achieve in time, with you guys. Whatever you didn't accomplish today yet, make sure you do it all by the time you pass out in bed. Don't give up, although it's only day two, you won't ever get this day back, regardless of how had you try. Don't make yourself regrets anything. #Justdoit
Although I didn't wake up, I slotted in a period of time in the after noon to do the bit of workout. I didn't have breakfast as I was late for my Uni. I did manage to pick up a sausage roll on the way back from uni. I have a bit of lunch at 2 and will do so again at 5. You gotta eat to keep that metabolism high.
I have also inserted a reminder at 7 pm everyday stating my goals. My current goals are as of this moment achieve a GPA of 4.0, continue building my blog (here) and get into better shape.
There's many things that comes to fitness but, I think its too clogged. I believed in two things that helps me everyday. Eat every three hours moderately and exercise for an hour each day. I don't think I need to invest in the fitness hype of protein and shakes and tea because at the end of the day, if I make the effort then the result will come. If I'm just gonna be lazy and drink my green tea I will definitely not see progress.

Stay Frosty.......

Sorry Guys I was a bit tired in this photo. :D

Today I want to start something with you. Something that means a lot to me. It is motivation to become fit. There’s never a time better then right now to get into better shape, and today I want to start that Journey with you. I am here to connect with people who are like me. I believe you guys are great people. You guys know that your reality isn’t created by others but constructed in every detail by you alone. You want to strive for greatness even at such a young age. Greatness doesn’t mean to be the best, but to do something that you could look back and be proud upon.
Fitness was never something that I was proud of in High-School. Might be one of the things that I never knew was achievable to be honest. Being raise in a family that praised the importance of food, even though we lacked other things, food was always plentyful. So being that way I became a little chubby, tinsy bit. I want you to imagine a panda, no not a bear but a panda. That was me, I was cute and adorable and I got all the attention.😉
Anyway today I want to set myself a challenge. I am now what I considered better off then what I used to be, but my goal is to become great and so I am not gonna stop at just being ok. I am going to be exceptional. I am going to be exceptional with you guys because I know that you guys want the same thing regardless of your fitness levels. Lets do this. I will be posting everyday about what my plans was and what I ate and to also give you a little bit of encouragement. You don’t have to copy what I did but just do something that helps you.
Today’s Diet:
Carbohydrate: in the form of rice, bread and a lot of pasta
Protein: Protein shake, Beef
Ate sporadically every two hours (nibbling) to keep metabolism up
Excercise:
Arm day, bicep curls, triceps and alot of dynamic moves involving push ups etc…
It’s been a good day for me today although I did ate a sausages that was filled with cheese. Never giving up though gonna burn that with a bit of cardio.
Before I go for today, remember do what you can and improve upon yourself because “the biggest enemy is yourself”. It is you who give up before you can start so the challenge is to beat yourself. Walking down the road is more then what a persons on the couch can do. Stay patient and time will award you.

Let's keep the Hacks Alive on Social Media.

I don't know about you, but one of the most annoying aspect of school in my experience is the ultimately void of distraction. Ahhh, the good old buddy that never leaves your side, the buddy that is aways there when you need to get your most important work done. I love the guy/gal, of course I'm making procrastination an anthropomorphic thing.
My production level through the year correlates with that of a declining linear chart. I believe that is due to the fact that our friendship between T-dog ( the name I will be referring to my procrastination habits from now on) has grown. T-dog always manages to help me find the most interesting content in the moment. Like "Grandma rapping" or  my personal favourite was that of "Old school Harlem Shake".
Jokes aside, I have found a few helpful hacks to maybe help you stay more focus during your high-school life.
WARNING: Your friendship with T-dog will be substantially weaken.
The first thing that I found useful is the app 'Productive - Habit Tracker'. This app really is great because, if you need a constant list of reminders as to why you can't hang with T-dog today, you got one. It's an app that strive to keep your reminders up front so that you can easily tick off what you need to get done for the day to ultimately maximise your productivity level.
Second thing that I found to be very helpful is to spend time alone. I know it's a daunting task especially in high-school, but hear me out ok? Spending time alone is actually very helpful. This act allows you to basically find out what defines you as a person, not what your friends think of you. During this time, you actually recognise your biggest flaws as well as your greatest strength. It could be for example, I found out that I was very dependent on friends, even when they weren't the best of friends, I would just try to tag along to try to preserve an image of "having friends". Also reflecting also help me saw that I had a pretty bad friendship with T-dog. Arggg
Both of these hacks I've personally used myself, both of which helps me in times of Netflix binge nights (Thursday, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sunday)  or during other important events such as staring contest with the ceiling. Although, I sometimes forget how these contest starts anyway.

I don't know if you guys have seen the movie Zootopia but man, you guys are really missing out. This is fast becoming one of my all time favourite Disney movie of all time. The characters, the plot, and the art, it all works so incredibly well. The messages in Disney movies are obvious right? They literally repeat the line "Not going to give up " 10 times in the first 30 minutes.

I feel so lucky to be in a generation where movies like these are able to give kids hope. Movies like this demonstrate the real world in a relatable way. Just like the social classes constructed in the movie, the same is apparently in the real world. The social class of predator which represents the strong, while prey represents the weak. The movie covers a lot more but I just want to focus on the message of "Never giving up". Everyone wants to just jump on board and try to defy opinions by mirroring Judy Hopps (if you don't recognise this character, she is the main character of the movie who never gives up). I don't think we are all like Judy Hopps because, as you can see being motivated is not a constant feeling. It cannot be contained. Dr Russ Dewey derived that motivation oscillate and this is because "The organism is forced to choose between two different desirable stimuli"

That is why I believe we are more like Nick Wilde. The sly fox who also had a dream. The fox's dream(SPOILER ALERT) was crushed by the prey when they oppressed him in his younger life. Ever since then, he gave up. The desirable stimuli in this situation I believe has to be, not to get hurt again, thus giving up to not have to fail.

You and I are both individuals who once also had dreams and aspirations. I know that some of you like me have had your dreams crushed to bit wether it is not being tall enough for sports or just social pressures. We all just gave up on it, on being the first president, the fireman, the doctor. I know that you know that you are limiting your potential. You all might know what I'm about to say next, blah... blah.... blah.... that you can reach your potential and what not. I'm not here to do that to be honest, I'm here to tell you, to go tell yourself that. Go on..... Tell yourself..

Most of us aren't gonna have a Judy Hopps hop (oh excellent pun) into our life and to give us that little push. Sometimes the only person you can trust for that boost is, yourself. This person is gonna have to be the reason why you wanna achieve your goal. Are you ready to once again face the reality of this world that does its utmost to put you down and knock you out? Or are you gonna face every punch with a smile and a cheeky wink?

So what is it gonna be?
The Red or the Blue Pill

Goodluck.....

Have you ever missed a lecture? Have you ever gone somewhere without wifi? Have you ever wonder, how on earth am I gonna catch up?

I don't get the reason why lecturer force you to stream 40 - 45 minutes worth of video content and yet the act of downloading it is outlawed. The simple convenience of a lecture downloaded to your phone or laptop makes students life just that bit easier. The internet at University is also far superior to that of our home why not take advantage of that?

If you go to University of Western Australia, I got your solution.

It's an easy concept courtesy of Luke Bartlett. The solution is simple, on the Lecture Capture System page inside of Learning Management Centre you simple replace the ?ec=true with /media.m4v?downloadOnly=true.

This will prompt you to a download page.

Your welcome

Hey Guys / Gals
It’s just so fitting that I start off with something that a lot of people struggle to find, motivation. It is something that comes sporadically and leaves so suddenly. When was the last time that you put off doing something productive leaving it till tomorrow? Was it some school work that you wanted to get ahead on? Was it to strive to reach your fitness goals? I struggled and am still struggling with motivating myself sometimes. I often look back with guilt at the end of my day after reflecting on what accomplishment I’ve made that day. The day that I will never again get back. Listen it’s hard to stay motivated, I know. Weighing at a staggering 75kg just after reaching high school which is at the age 13, I was obese. I didn’t need any doctors to tell me that. All I needed to do was to look in the mirror. What got me up? What got me to shed the pounds to now being 18 and less then 75kg. I’m telling you, it’s definitely not sitting on my iPads or phone. I’m telling you its not because I took some magical pills from Ellen or Dr Oz. It was finding the reason why I wanted to do it. The reason to not be laughed at all the time, to accomplish something in my life for once. This motivated me, I’m not here to congratulate my achievement. I’m here to congratulate you readers. You guys found the motivation to go seek out, motivation to improve yourself.
Listen, everyone is born with a talent, everyone is born with greatness, no body is born to be just another number. Do ‘something’ that means ‘something’ to you. Nobody succeeded by sitting on their bottoms. If you want to loose weight, do it. Want to do well in school?, do it. Do whatever it is that you want to accomplish but make sure once you start, you don’t quit because its hard. You don’t give up because you couldn’t do it on your first try. Let me tell you something, no seed ever grow into trees in the matter of days, it takes diligence and consistent work caring for the seedlings so that great tree may one day sprout. Some of the most wonderful things come from sacrifice. The sacrifice of single hood to becoming parents. Sacrifice to give up what you once were to be who you dream of being. Don’t do it for anyone else, do it for yourself, prove to yourself that you can achieve a goal if you put your mind into it.
Reading through, you must have noticed that most of my motivation comes mentally. You might think that I’m talking nonsense. You must realise that there is a reason why your brain consumes 70 % of your body’s energy consumption. That’s because the brain is more powerful then the body. What I’m saying couldn’t possibly work, what do you have to loose? What did Steve Job do after dropping out of college? What did Kerstin Helle do after being diagnosed with obesity? They all tried, and thats all that anyone can judge you for, thats all you can ever judge yourself for.
What do you have to loose?
GOOD LUCK
Stay Motivated
